Weight gain
The baby should be gaining weight at the rate of approx. 150 - 200 g per week.
Hungry with breast milk
Ask a specialist for advice on breast-feeding tips.
- A further possibility after 6 months is to stir in a suitable pap (depending on the stool consistency) with water and, using a finger, a pacifier or a spoon, give the baby a small amount of this before breast-feeding.
Hungry with Bimbosan milk
Using the Bimbosan Modular Feeding System give the baby our milk supplements.
Hungry with competitors' milks
Best of all is to change to Bimbosan because Bimbosan products are designed to complement each other, so nothing can go wrong. Many other milks contain carbohydrate additives. Many babies have been satisfied for 5 to 6 months just using only Bimbosan. Bimbosan products require no follow-on milk. Depending on requirements and habits, introduce bottle supplements to Bimbosan.
Doesn't sleep through
- 0-4 months: usually at this age, the baby needs to be fed at night
- 4-8 months: check whether the child has been fed sufficiently during the day. Under no circumstances should the last bottle of the day be enriched with a supplement.
- 8-12 months: at this age give the child supplementary food
- After 12 months: make sure that no artificially vitamin-enhanced bottle supplements are given during the night.
