Paps
Our cereal products must be prepared using Bimbosan baby milk, Bisoja, dairy milk (full-fat milk) or HA-milk but never using a follow-on milk.
A follow-on milk is a milk which contains carbohydrates. Only parents and specialists know which is the right bottle supplement for each child.
- The child's stool quality, age and appetite determine the ideal bottle supplement.
- See also Bimbosan Modular Feeding System and the 8 logical points for a healthy baby nutrition
Breast milk is the best for the baby. The WHO recommends exclusive breast feeding for the first 6 months.
Our indications regarding dairy (full-fat) milk after the 6th month are not a recommendation, but possible instructions using thinned down cow milk on special desire (if a mother wants to give dairy milk early).
Bimbosan paps can be prepared with the usual baby milk, thus guaranteeing an optimal tolerability a as you do not have to change milk.
Preparation of a pap with baby milk: Stir in the Bimbosan paps with the usual milk or mix always the same amount of measuring spoons of milk powder as table spoons of cereals with boiled, cooled down water. E.g. 4-6 measuring spoons of milk powder with 4-6 table spoons of cereals. Options using our paps: Add fresh vegetable, fruits and meat until the child is eating at the table.
Info! A child should only be given one meal a day withouth milk until the age of 1 year. In order that the infant can develop healthily, it must have milk. If you are not giving your baby either breast milk or baby milk, the necessary proteins must be replaced with an alternative. Bottle supplements and paps without protein are neither satisfying nor tasty.
